Hey there! My name is Chris, Co-Founder & President of OntarioRN. I’m an undergraduate nursing student at the University of Toronto – before studying nursing, I studied and completed a degree in Health Sciences, fostering an interest in human anatomy and social structures, working and volunteering in the community with vulnerable populations. I have primarily worked with children over the last 10 years, and have recently focused my time as a Clinical Extern to a Cancer and Nephrology specialty at my local hospital.
In my spare time, you can find me training for an upcoming triathalon and tackling the rock climbing gym. Connect with me anytime!
Hi there! My name is Moe, and I serve as OntarioRN's Co-Founder & CEO. Currently, I'm an undergraduate nursing student at the University of Toronto. Before studying nursing, I worked across the healthcare landscape for 6 years in various settings, such as walk-in clinics, outpatient rehabilitation centers, Transitional Care Units (TCU), and more. I work as a Clinical Nurse Extern on a medicine wing at my local hospital. I've also had many clinical placements in hospitals across the GTA, affording me a wealth of experience in working with all populations!
In my spare time, you might catch me on the basketball court or making videos. Feel free to connect any time!
Ontario RN was designed to help close the gap in accessing high quality care in the comfort of your home. After working extensively within hospitals, clinics, community health settings, and more, we recognized the growing need for routine, accessible, patient-centred care beyond traditional environments. That is why our team designed this service: to bring trusted nursing care directly to you.
Whether you are managing chronic conditions or addressing mental health concerns - professional support is available.
Our approach is simple: expand the range of behavioural skills that you can draw on to support your overall well-being. We help you strengthen and refine practical strategies (i.e. CBT, Autogenic Training) so that you are equipped to manage the challenges that arise in daily life.
Interventions are guided by evidence-based literature and delivered by trained professionals.
At Ontario RN, we are guided by a set of core values set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) that include compassion, respect, dignity, integrity, and excellence. We believe that these values are essential to providing quality care, and we strive to uphold them in everything we do.
At Ontario RN, we incorporate up-to-date, high quality research to guide healthcare practices. Evidence-based/Evidence-informed care integrates our clinical expertise, your preferences, and the best available evidence.
Telemedicine and virtual care have gained considerable traction because of its accessiblity. It allows for you to receive the same treatment and follow-up without the need to travel or visit a clinic in person.
Intradisciplinary care involves collaboration among healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centred treatment. As RNs, we integrate acupuncture, psychotherapy, and more to support healing.
A strength-based approach focuses on refining your existing skills and resilience rather than focusing on the deficits. It empowers us by recognizing capability and supporting goals.
Trauma-informed care recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment in every patient interaction. A trauma-informed approach allows us to foster healing in a supportive environment.
Person-centred care places the individual at the heart of every healthcare decision. It promotes dignity, autonomy, and collaboration, leading to more meaningful and effective healthcare experiences.
All personal health information is collected, stored, and accessed in accordance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). As Registered Nurses, we take every measure to ensure your information is handled with discretion and respect.
Confidentiality is a core principle of our nursing practice, as mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). We maintain strict boundaries around client information and only share details with your informed consent or when legally required. You can trust that what you share with us stays between you and your care team.
Our approach to care is holistic, evidence-based, and tailored to meet your unique needs. From mental health support to chronic disease management, we offer a wide range of services under one coordinated care plan.
