Memory is one of the most cherished parts of who we are. It holds our stories, our loved ones’ faces, and our sense of self. So when memory begins to fade, it’s not just confusing, it can change how we view ourselves.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, which is a group of conditions that affect memory, thinking, and daily function. While dementia is not a normal part of aging, age is the biggest risk factor. Over time, these conditions can affect communication, mood, relationships, and independence.
At Ontario RN, we believe every person deserves dignity, patience, and compassionate support throughout this journey. Whether you're a caregiver, a spouse, or living with dementia yourself, you're not alone.
At Ontario RN, we offer evidence-based, non-pharmaceutical therapies to guide you toward calm, confidence, and clarity. Our providers deliver evidence-based techniques in treating anxiety, such as cognitive behaviour therapy, biofeedback therapy, and autogenic training to support wellness.
While we do not prescribe or manage medication at Ontario RN, medication can play an important role in a comprehensive treatment plan. For pharmaceutical interventions, we encourage that you consult with your primary care provider.
