Chronic pain is more than just an ongoing discomfort. Defined as pain lasting longer than 3 to 6 months, it can linger well beyond the expected period of healing. It disrupts sleep, dulls joy, and interferes with daily living.

At Ontario RN, we understand that chronic pain is not “just in your head.” It’s real, and can make activities of daily living much harder. That’s why we take a holistic approach, evidence-based care, therapeutic strategies, and compassionate support — to help you reclaim your comfort and control.

At Ontario RN, we offer evidence-based, non-pharmaceutical therapies to guide you toward calm clarity. Our providers deliver evidence-based techniques in treating chronic pain, such as acupuncture, passive and progressive muscle relaxation techniques, cognitive behaviour therapy, biofeedback therapy, and autogenic training. 

While we do not prescribe or manage medication at Ontario RN, medication can play an important role in a comprehensive treatment plan. For pharmaceutical interventions, we encourage that you consult with your primary care provider.
